Katie, Laura and I were excited to celebrate Kosova’s very 1st anniversary of independence! Katie came up with an extravagant menu for the night.
1. Speca Dollma – Stuffed Peppers- with rice and beef
2. Byrek (which turned out like pite) - spinach yum
3. Chopped sallatë- cucumber, tomato, onion, pepper delightfulness
4. Bombica- a yummy dessert ( sorry didn’t get a picture of it)
THE PLATE OF YUMMINESS
My goal in taking this picture above was to make it look as awesome as Sara and Casey’s food pictures. I took about 5 and none of them even came close to the awesomeness of theirs… but whatever. IS IT THE FORK? DOES IT RUIN IT?
No night would be complete without our favorite juices: strawberry and Peach- i ran over to Taste of Bosnia last week and got hooked up with the same juice we have in Kosova!
Laura got her early thankfully and we were cooking in the kitchen forever! These next few pictures CRACK ME UP!
Now when i was in KS this past summer i went to visit my wonderful friend Doni’s home. His mother and sister were kind enough to give me a wedding present ( pre-engagement). hese hand made beauties are lovely
Finally here are some wonderful pictures of us sporting our colors… red & black and blue and yellow…
